Jeremy Bernstein

 

Jeremy Bernstein is a Los Angeles-based storyboard artist and director. He is also skilled in computer and hand drawn animation, character design, editing, and script writing. Since his graduation from Cal Arts in 2002 with a BFA in character animation, he has worked for top animation studios including Dreamworks Feature Animation, Dreamworks Television, Disney Television, Nickelodeon, Sony Imageworks, Cartoon Network, Adult Swim, Fox Animation, and Marvel Studios. Jeremy got his start in animation working on the very first Family Guy pilot and then progressed on to storyboard, write, and animate for Tim Burton’s web series, Stainboy.
 
His feature film credits include the soon to be released Dog Man animated feature film from Dreamworks animation, the Annie nominated film Trolls 2- World Tour, the soon to be released Trolls 3 feature, The Bad Guys, Ronan Boyle (in development), the Oscar-nominated Shrek 2 and Shrek 3, Over the Hedge, Madagascar, Flushed Away, the Oscar-nominated Kung Fu Panda, Monsters vs. Aliens, and Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs. Jeremy’s television credits include the Emmy, Annie, and BAFTA award-winning Nickelodeon series, The Penguins of Madagascar, Monsters vs. Aliens, Breadwinners, and directing and writing on the Netflix series, Home: Adventures with Tip and Oh.
 
In his spare time, Jeremy is developing ideas of his own including a feature film and three TV series. He has also written and illustrated his own self-published books. He lives in Pasadena with his two sons, and a collection of books and vintage toys.
