Jeremy Bernstein

 

Jeremy Bernstein is a Los Angeles-based storyboard director, storyboard artist, writer, and animator.  Since his graduation from CalArts in 2002 with a BFA in character animation, he has worked for top animation studios including Dreamworks Television, Dreamworks Feature Animation, Disney Television, Nickelodeon, Sony Imageworks, Cartoon Network, Adult Swim, and Marvel Studios. Jeremy got his start in animation working on the very first Family Guy pilot and then moved on to storyboard, write, and animate for Tim Burton’s web series, Stainboy.

 

Jeremy’s television credits include the Emmy, Annie, and BAFTA award-winning Nickelodeon series, The Penguins of Madagascar, Monsters vs. Aliens, Breadwinners, and Pickle and Peanut. His feature film credits include Trolls 2, the Oscar-nominated Shrek 2, Shrek 3, Over the Hedge, Madagascar, Flushed Away, the Oscar-nominated Kung Fu Panda, Monsters vs. Aliens, and Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs. Currently, Jeremy is a Storyboard artist on the upcoming sequel to the Trolls feature film for Dreamworks Animation. His last position was Storyboard Director and writer on the hit NETFLIX series, Home: Adventures with Tip and OH for Dreamworks Television.

 

In his spare time, Jeremy is developing and pitching an animated feature film and three animated TV series. He also writes and illustrates his own books. He has self-published seven books and exhibits his original paintings at various galleries throughout Los Angeles. He lives in Silverlake with his wife, their cat Chicken, and way too many books and vintage toys.
